Rajeev Memorial Ever-rolling Trophy for MES State Football Meet
Every year, all MES Schools of the State meet for an "MES State Football meet" for the "Rajeev Memorial Ever-rolling winners' Trophy" sponsored by Skooldays. This trophy is created in rememberance of Rajeev U, a 2000 batch pass-out of MES School Pattambi, who left us on 10th September 2008 in a bike accident in Bangalore. This trophy is now awarded to the school winning the MES State Football Tournament, in memory of this Football lover.
Financial assistance for higher studies
Skooldays plans to offer financial assistance to the needy students who passed out from MES School Pattambi, pursuing higher studies. This will be made possible utilising the common fund of Skooldays, contributed by the members. This was officially announced by Mr. Shafi Parambil during the second Alumni meet on December 26
Skooldays organises Alumni meets in the school every 3 years. This is an opportunity for all old students of the school to meet again, and to participate in the cultural activities that will be staged as part of the event. New activities are planned and organised during each Alumni meet. It is during Alumni meets that members usually contribute funds to Skooldays.
Skooldays offers an exclusive placement cell through this website. This service is currently under construction and is expected to be online within a couple of days. Watch this space for updates on this.
Career Guidance / Counselling
Many students choose their higher studies by trying their luck. They go for Engineering / Medical entrance and if they do not succeed, they jump to Commerce / Arts. Skooldays is planning to offer guidance about higher studies to students who complete their X and XII. Instead of trying jackpots, this will help students to take a bold decision on which stream to choose, based on their individual interests and preferences. This way, they will succeed in their life by choosing the profession they are really capable in. This service is not yet started by Skooldays, though it is planned to start at the end of the current academic year.
